Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter
Steps
- Whisk the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Stir the wet mix into the dry mix until just combined — lumps are fine.
- Cook scoops on a buttered griddle over medium heat, flipping when bubbles form.
- Serve with maple syrup and fresh berries.

Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- Garlic bread
- Parmesan cheese
- Side salad greens
Steps
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti until al dente.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then stir in the marinara and simmer.
- Warm the garlic bread in the oven.
- Drain the pasta, top with sauce and parmesan, and serve with salad.
Tacos

- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Taco shells or tortillas
- Shredded cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, salsa
- Sour cream
Steps
- Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning with a splash of water and simmer until thickened.
- Warm the shells or tortillas.
- Set out all the toppings and let everyone build their own.
