    • 2 tbsp sugar

    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 1/4 cups milk
    • 1 egg
    • 3 tbsp melted butter
    Steps
    1. Whisk the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
    2. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter.
    3. Stir the wet mix into the dry mix until just combined — lumps are fine.
    4. Cook scoops on a buttered griddle over medium heat, flipping when bubbles form.
    5. Serve with maple syrup and fresh berries.

    • 1 lb spaghetti
    • 1 jar marinara sauce
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • Garlic bread
    • Parmesan cheese
    • Side salad greens
    Steps
    1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti until al dente.
    2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then stir in the marinara and simmer.
    3. Warm the garlic bread in the oven.
    4. Drain the pasta, top with sauce and parmesan, and serve with salad.

    • Taco shells or tortillas
    • Shredded cheese
    • Lettuce, tomato, salsa
    • Sour cream
    Steps
    1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat.
    2. Stir in the taco seasoning with a splash of water and simmer until thickened.
    3. Warm the shells or tortillas.
    4. Set out all the toppings and let everyone build their own.
