Our Traditions

Every Christmas morning, before presents, everyone gets Bridget's buttermilk pancakes with real maple syrup. No exceptions. Not even if Santa came late.
Every July we load up the car with way too much stuff and head into the mountains. Jonathon forgets something every single year. The girls have bets on what it'll be.
Fridays belong to the whole family. We rotate who picks the movie — which means we've watched Encanto roughly forty times thanks to the little ones.
Whoever's birthday it is gets to sleep in while the rest of us make their favorite breakfast. The kids take this very seriously. Dad mostly just supervises.
Same spot on the front porch, same sign, every year. We've done this since Gemma started kindergarten and we're never stopping.
